Getting Ready for Cusco

Seven of us from ASU (and Tulane University and Kyrene Schools) are getting ready to leave for Cusco, Peru, on June 5, as part of a GobalResolve (http://globalresolve.asu.edu) project to help create Terra Preta on a local farm using biochar.  We have other goals, as well:  network with NGOs to help identify other projects we can work on, teach courses at the local university on entrepreneurship, work at a local orphanage and, of course visit Machu Picchu. 

This is where some of us will tell our travel stories to keep our friends and relatives up to date, assuming we have internet access.
